The latest weekly challenge in Fortnite requires players to explore Frostbite Falls and Restful Retreat. It’s not far from Brutal Bastion, a popular landing location. We’ll locate it on the island and assist you in completing the most recent weekly challenge.
The Fortnite Week 8 missions are now available, and there are five new objectives for players to perform for additional XP. Unlike the Week 7 tasks, these objectives may be accomplished almost entirely in the same place, with no visits to the left side of the map required.

Visit Frostbite Falls and Restful Retreat
A frozen lake and an ascender or zipline are part of the landmark south of Brutal Bastion. Frostbite Falls also features a frozen waterfall that you may enter. The waterfall is ideal for startling unprepared adversaries and easily eliminating them. The Fortnite landmark isn’t particularly popular because landing there is quite dangerous. It’s flanked by massive ice cliffs, which severely disadvantage players that land there.
The quickest method to get to Frostbite Falls in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 is to land at Brutal Bastion. The stated area has multiple chests, a capture point, a large amount of floor treasure, and many other fantastic features. This is the ideal option if you want to finish the challenge while remaining in the game and attempting to win.
Where to find Frostbite Falls and Restful Retreat
Once you’ve finished your loot, head south to Frostbite Falls. If you are surrounded by adversaries, you can utilize one of the Launch Pads in the region. To finish the challenge and receive 12,000 XP, you must also visit Restful Retreat, which is located southeast of Frostbite Falls. Because of Fortnite Storm updates, it is now feasible to reach these two spots in a single match and accomplish the weekly challenge.
With the major Fortnite x Star Wars partnership launching today, most gamers are probably overlooking the weekly tasks. The activities this week, however, are rather straightforward and can be completed while players complete the Fortnite Find the Force Quests. The Week 8 missions and how to fulfill them are detailed below.
Fortnite Week 8 Quests
MEGA City lies immediately to the east of Restful Retreat. Rotate to the little island to accomplish part one of the first task, and if you haven’t done the Week 7 quests yet, there are two campfires here as well. Then, take the geyser north to the snow biome and visit Frostbite Falls, which is located directly beneath Brutal Bastion. The following are the Fortnite Week 8 quests and their XP rewards:
- 12,000 XP for visiting Frostbite Falls and Restful Retreat
- 12,000 XP for Sprinting on Grind Rails
- Eliminate enemies with the unvaulted Submachine Gun: 12,000 XP
- Take harm from an opponent and live for 30 seconds: 12,000 XP
- 24,000 XP for marking hostile players or characters
How to Complete Fortnite Week 8 Quests
MEGA City is where players may fulfill three of the five missions. If you land there off-spawn, you will almost certainly suffer damage from an opponent player (just make sure you survive). Then, from one of the many chests in the POI, locate an unvaulted Submachine Gun and begin hunting eliminations. Finally, Grind Rails link all of MEGA City’s tall buildings; climb on one for a quick escape or to grasp a building’s roof.
You must mark hostile gamers or characters for the ultimate task. The simplest method is to claim a Capture Point. Many POIs, such as Knotty Nets and Kenjutsu Crossing, have one, but since you’re already in the snow, simply stand on the flag and Capture Brutal Bastion. You will gain 24,000 XP for marking all players and characters in the POI.
