New Information on NBA 2k23 Championship Edition:
Devin Booker, a shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, is featured on the cover of NBA 2K23’s Standard Edition. The cost is $59.99 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions. $69.99 is the price for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions.
As long as the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are members of the same platform family, NBA 2K23 for PS4 and Xbox One can be played on those consoles, but don’t anticipate any next-gen features or additions. The Standard Edition of the game does not come with a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S. The ability to pay the $10 upgrade fee (the price difference) to upgrade from last generation to next generation is also unknown.
Devin Booker is also featured on the cover of the Digital Deluxe Edition. The greatest distinction is that NBA 2K23 is playable on consoles from both generations as long as they belong to the same family NBA 2K23 championship edition.
This is your best option if you currently own a last-gen console and want to upgrade to a next-gen console because there doesn’t seem to be a way to just pay the $10 price difference. You also cannot simply pay $69.99 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions since they are incompatible with last-generation platforms.
